Holland Lift training in Turkey

Dutch based specialised scissor lift manufacturer Holland Lift has recently provided onsite training for its Turkish distributor Istanbul Vinç group.

Wim Roos and Kadir Ozdemir from Holland Lift Servi-Tec visited the Istanbul based crane and access rental company, in order to provide service and maintenance training courses for its service team.

The two day training covered basic service details, toubleshooting and locating breakdown issues and the technical details to the control systems.

The Istanbul Vinç service team has now receieved training from a number of manufacturers that it has in its fleet, including: Teupen, Genie, Holland Lift, Skyjack and JLG. It claims that there is no similarly trained service group in Turkey and as a result it is able to offer service and mainentence for other rental companies as well as its own.

Holland Lift Servi-Tec and İstanbul Vinç service team working on a practical training exercise

The company said: “The training will help us provide a faster service and extend the range we can cover. Being fast is important for the costumers as they are likely to lose money the longer a machine is out of action.”
