Don’t forget the boom

A utility/bucket truck overturned in Cooper City Florida yesterday after the operator failed to stow the boom before hitting the road.

The lift headed down a multiple lane avenue and eventually struck an overhead traffic light beam, causing it to overturn. As it went over the truck took out two power line poles cutty electricity to the local area.

The driver Kenneth Haag, 60, was taken to hospital with back injuries, while his passenger, Jordan Twist, 22, escaped injury.
