Mystery shopper for big Brontos

The man under the mask has just taken delivery of two new 90 metre Bronto truck mounted lifts that his company ordered last year and at the same time ordered three more big Bronto truck mounted lifts.

The company ordered the two S90HLA in September last year at Apex, theres a clue.. and they came off of the Bronto production line in Finland this week. Thus the inspection and handover prior to shipping.

The mystery buyer on a snowmobile with Ian James of Bronto riding pillion

While at the factory the man in the mask ordered a third 90 metre S90HLA plus two 70 metre Bronto S70XDT truck mounts. Having completed his duties and being in the snow covered north, he took advantage of the location and accepted an invitation to visit a Finnish ski resort for a celebratory day on the pistes.

Perhaps in the ski mask you might recognise the mystery man and in doing so know the company that is investing so heavily in big truck mounted lifts?

Here he is again on the ski slopes - at this point some will guess his identity - check the smile

If not a clue is that the lifts will be shipped to the British Isles and most likely end up in the London area. Still guessing, well one or two of them may end up based in Dublin.

Yes its John Ball (l)of Easi UpLifts taking delivery of a new 90 metre Bronto S90HL from Ian James of BrontoA

Yes the man is ex IPAF president John Ball – managing director of Irish based international rental company Height for Hire/Easi UpLifts.

The company is currently investing heavily in both its ‘bread and butter’ self-propelled fleet which it likes to keep young.. while expanding its big truck mounted and spider lift fleets. The company envisages that in addition to serving its own customers the big spiders and truck mounts will be popular with other rental companies on a Europe wide re-rent basis.

Sorry no prizes for those who guessed at the top of the page, although you can pat yourself on the back for being tuned into the market.

Have a great weekend
