Extra counterweight for Terex Franna cranes
Terex Cranes has recently launched a new Superlift counterweight system for its Franna pick & carry cranes.
Dubbed the Terex MAC 25 SL the additional ballast can, it says, increase lifting capacities by up to 30 percent on its 25 tonne MAC 25 models, that are produced in Brisbane, Australia.

The counterweight system – which can be retro-fitted - incorporates 2,160kg of additional ballast, increasing the rear axle weight from 14 to 16.6 tonnes.
“Our customers are extremely loyal to our pick and carry crane design,” said Danny Black, general manager Terex Cranes Australia. “The new MAC 25 SL system now provides additional capacity to extend the range of lifting operations. This means up to 30 per cent more lifting capacity over the current capacity - which is a real competitive advantage.”
