The crane, a small Grove TMS, was putting in sheet piles
The crane was working for Fucci Construction and reportedly driving in steel sheet piles to reinforce the waterside bank.
Vertikal Comment
From the information we have been sent it is hard to see what caused the incident, although outrigger issues look as if they may have played a part. An overload situation is also a possibly explanation - placing piles with a telescopic crane has its dangers.
