1,600 tonne crawler for Tutt Bryant
Australian heavy lifting and haulage company Tutt Bryant - part of the Tat Hong Group - has taken delivery of the first 1,600 tonne Terex Demag CC8800-1 crawler crane in Australia.
The CC8800-1 has a maximum load moment of 24,002 tonne/metres and superlift radii of 19-30 metres. Tutt Bryant claim the crane offers significant efficiencies in the erection and installation of large-scale facilities when compared to alternate methods such as ring lift cranes and jacking towers. It also says it will operate as the largest conventional crawler crane based in the country.
