Dahlsten leaves Ramirent

Peter Dahlsten managing director/group senior vice president of Ramirent Sweden has decided to leave the company effective immediately.

The search for a successor is already underway, while chief executive Magnus Rosén will act as interim managing director of the Swedish subsidiary until a successor is appointed.

Peter Dahlsten

Dahlsten, 54, has spent 26 years in the equipment rental business having joined NCC Construction in 1986, in 2002 that business became Altima which was acquired by Ramirent in 2004.

Rosén said: "Over the course of his career, Dahlsten worked various managerial roles at NCC and Altima and he was instrumental in the integration of Altima with Ramirent as its chief financial officer before finally landing in the position of senior vice president of Ramirent group’s Sweden- segment in 2009. I have respect for Peter’s contribution for the development of this industry and highly appreciate the value that Peter has delivered to our Swedish business. I wish him all the very best with his future endeavours."
