Easy Lift appoints UP for North America

Italian truck mount and spider lift manufacturer Easy Lift has appointed Canadian access rental company UP as its spider lift distributor for North America.

Established in 2001 the Montreal based company originally specialised in training operators. More recently, as well as providing after sales service, it offers a rental service with a fleet that includes Genie, JLG and Snorkel self-propelled boom lifts.

UP will now be responsible for the entire Easy Lift spider range which consists of nine articulated and straight boom machines with working heights from 12 to 30 metres.

In August the company took delivery of a 21 metre R210 and 30 metre R300 spider lift. The units offer an 11 metre and 14.5 metre outreach respectively with a 200kg maximum capacity.

Commenting on Easy Lift’s range, the company said: “Its compact tracked spider lifts are the perfect choice for us. Not only are they ideal for working outside in confined areas such as backyards, unlevel surfaces or on steps, they are also the perfect choice for working inside as well. They pass through standard doorways easily and the electric motors reduce emissions and excessive noise."

Up is currently developing a system for online ordering and warranty management for North American dealers.
