CTE supplies the UAE
CTE has delivered a 33 metre B-Fire 330 fire fighting platform to Abu Dhabi oil and gas company Gasco.
The B-Fire 330 is equipped offers a 33 metre working height with its non-telescopic boom and jib and features an emergency ladder with a 450kg platform capacity. It is also fitted with a water/foam pump and a water tank with a 4000 litre capacity. The company claims its B-Fire range represents the finest technology available for emergency and prevention use and that its main feature is its high operating speeds needed in emergency situations.
Negotiations came about after Korean car manufacturer Hyundai appointed Gasco to supply a new gasification plant with a series of fire-fighting and safety equipment which included a CTE B-Fire aerial fire-fighting platform. Established in 1978 Gasco is a joint venture between Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Shell, Total, Partex, and Atheer (ADNOC).
