Nationwide achieves second accreditation

The UK division of Lavendon – Nationwide Platforms – has achieved its second consecutive Safecontractor accreditation, which recognises high standards of health and safety practice amongst UK contractors.

Under the Safecontractor scheme, businesses undergo a vetting process which examines its health and safety procedures and track record for safe practice. The accreditation is aimed to reassure large contractors and other companies that the suppliers they use are fully signed up to a safe culture of work with systems and controls in place to help ensure consistency. It is also subject to a renewal and a regular audit.
