Barnhart Crane expands to 24 locations
US based Barnhart Crane & Rigging has opened three new branches in Charleston, South Carolina, Owensboro, Kentucky and Richland, Washington.
The new locations along with recently acquired C&S Crane & Rigging of Syracuse, New York, take the company into new areas. In addition, the company is relocating the operations of its Portland, Oregon branch to Seattle bringing its branch network to 24 locations.
The Charleston and Owensboro branches will focus on providing heavy transportation, rigging and lifting services to nuclear and power customers in the region, while the new Richland branch will serve the Department of Energy’s Hanford Site in Washington State as well as industrial facilities in the region.
The Charleston branch is located at the Marine Terminals and includes a roll on – roll off (RO-RO) facility to accommodate project cargo ships. The facility features more than 18,500 square metres of high bay covered storage and is serviced by overhead cranes. The Owensboro branch is located at Owensboro Riverport with RO-RO potential on the Ohio River.
