Self-erector overturns in Salzburg
A self-erecting tower crane overturned on Tuesday at a crossroads in Salzburg, Austria. The 15 metre high crane was working on the refurbishment of an apartment building and was lifting a load of shuttering when the crane overturned with the tower coming to rest against the building.

A scissor lift and loader crane were used in the clean up
The jib meanwhile crashed down into the road pulling down the overhead power lines of trolley bus line number five.
Luckily no one was injured in the incident, although a passing car was slightly damaged. A loader crane and scissor lift were deployed to remove the crane’s jib from the street.
