The not so Fair Guide

We have mentioned fair guide in these columns several times in the past, the company send outs forms appearing to offer free entry in its guide to exhibitions, however IF you sign your free entry you commit the company to at least €971 in the small print. In January a judgement against the Fair Guide was confirmed. This essentially says that if you do mistakenly sign the form, you can ignore any attempts by the Fair guide to collect it.

The guide which is on line has no practical use to exhibitors at trade shows, no use whatsoever. The business relies on companies mistakenly signing the forms and its ability to collect the funds.
