Record year for Ruthmann

German truck mounted lift manufacturer Ruthmann has reported sales of €95 million for 2012, an increase of 25.5 percent on 2011.

Sales for its Cargoloader division increased by 46 percent while sales for its Steiger platform division increased 25 percent. The company is private and does not issue a full set of results - or for that matter any detail at all apart from the headline revenues mentioned above.

Managing director, Rolf Kulawik said: “These positive results are based on our successful product development process which in turn is based on customer needs and requirements. Superb performance, on-time delivery, and top-quality service also contributed to the success we enjoyed in 2012.”

“Many orders came from the core German market but our export figures are also higher than ever. Our municipal business continued to grow nicely and we are also very satisfied with sales figures from the Versalift line.”

The company has also said it will be introducing five additional innovations in 2013 as well as enhancing its service across Germany and optimising production at its Gescher-Hochmoor factory.
