New from Saltec

Spanish mastclimber and hoist manufacturer Saltec/Torgar will launch four new products at Bauma next month.

New to its work platform range is the PW-6/12 twin-mast lift which allows for platform lengths of up to 24.6 metres and a lift capacity up to two tonnes. Specially designed for façade renovation work, it has a maximum height of 120 metres. The company will also launch a platform which combines its PW6-12 mast climber with its T1-08 passenger hoist and a two tonne Pl-20 material hoist.

In addition to these ‘more regular products’, it will unveil the PT-02 industrial lift, designed specifically for use with tower cranes for both people and equipment.

Established in 1950, to make wheelbarrows, pulleys and concrete mixers, Saltec turned its attention to hoists during the 1960’s and 70’s. Today, marketed under the Torgar brand, it provides cable and pinion hoists, personnel elevators, transport platforms and work platforms as well as continuing to manufacture concrete mixers.
