Lift incident in Beaver Dam

We have received reports of two men being injured yesterday in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin after a lift overturned.

While the incident has been widely reported locally details vary, what is clear is that a self-propelled lift of some kind, most likely a scissor lift overturned after a wheel or the floor under it gave way. The two, aged 44 and 33, fell around five metres.

They were removing stage lighting at the Beaver Dam Family Center, after a synchronised skating show. Both men are in hospital- so far that is all we know.
