Haulotte first half sales up 58%
Haulotte revenues for the first half of 2005 hit a new record at €184.8 million. Sales in the first quarter were inflated by €4.6 million of revenues from UK Platforms, which was added to the group on April 1 2004, this added €4.6 million to the half year result. On a like for like comparison, revenues were up by 54 percent at just over $180 million.
Changes in reporting rules also complicate the comparison, but no matter how you look at it revenues at Haulotte rose by over 50 percent.
The order intake in 2005, as already reported, jumped by 65 percent, leading the company to raise its forecast for 2005 to an increase in sales and profitability of between 20 and 30 percent. This equates to full year revenues in the region of €330 to €370 million.
Rental income has reportedly been flat at Haulotte, with revenues for the first half touching €20 million, split largely between Lev in France and UK platforms in the UK. Ireland Access was sold to Loxam earlier in the year.
90 percent of sales revenues were in Europe, 17 percent of which were in the domestic French market.
