Kiloutou acquires new locations

French general rental company Kiloutou, has acquired the equipment rental division of transport specialist Trefoulet.

Founded in 1979 as a contractor, Trefoulet branched out into equipment rental in 1993, and then added transport in 1996, but has now decided to concentrate on its transport business. It is very much a tool and general equipment company, with just a few trailer and vehicle mounted lifts along with a small number of telehandlers.

Kiloutou has acquired all of the assets connected with the equipment rental operation and gains two new locations. One at Pierrelatte, close to the Tricastin nuclear power station and the other at Piolenc, just north of Orange.

The new locations will strengthen Kiloutou’s network in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, particularly around Montelimar and better access to the nuclear power station at Tricastin.
