Romanian Death Wish

Spotted in Constanta, Romania, several men working at height on a new building with very little attention to safe working practices.

The first thing that jumps out are the men working on the first floor with no form of edge protection, but then you notice the man working from one of the small scaffolds is not only standing on the top of a frame, but that the scaffold does not have base plates or castors and is precariously resting on the narrow kerb and some blocks.

A closer look reveals all manner of issues with the scaffold base

If he should slip or lose his footing he might either fall or impale himself on the spigots or both. A definite one for our Death Wish series.
