First truck mounted operator for Clements
UK based rental company Clements Plant & Tool has put its first truck-mounted operator through an IPAF PAL Plus course. Employee Ray Lee, who has worked his entire 24 year career for Clements, passed his 1b/3b PAL Plus course at the Oakbarn Training centre in Wolvey.
Clements’ managing director Jim Longstaff, said: “We were keen for Ray to take the course, as it seems more customers are becoming aware of the legislation and we perceive that certain of our customer base will demand operators qualified to the IPAF PAL Plus standard. We wanted to get ahead of the game and make sure that we have operators to the highest qualification.”
“In the last two weeks we have had genuine letters of commendation for Ray from customers, which is really nice to receive. He is a brilliant operator and is extremely popular with customers and now that he has his PAL Plus licence, we can’t ask for any more from him.”
