Ramirent signs Caverion
Finnish based rental company Ramirent has signed a letter or intent to provide building systems contractor Caverion with rental equipment.
The agreement has been made with YIT Equipment and Caverion for the outsourcing to Ramirent of all equipment, operations and personnel related to Caverion’s operations in Finland. Rami and Caverion also intend to sign an agreement for the provision of equipment rental and services.
Caverion, which designs manufactures and maintains energy-efficient systems for large buildings and provides industrial services, was demerged from construction company YIT in June, is quoted on the Helsinki stock exchange. Caverion’s equipment management activities in Finland employ 20 people, with annual revenues of around € 5 million.
The plan is to sign the final agreement and start the co-operation by the end of October.
Ramirent chief executive Magnus Rosén said: “We are delighted that YIT Equipment and Caverion have chosen Ramirent as their potential strategic partner. Our aim is, that we will meet and fulfil Caverion’s expectations for world class equipment rental services and to build a long term relationship that benefits both parties.”
