Operations manager for Big Rentz

US based virtual rental company BigRentz has hired Rohan Mishal as operations manager.

In his new role he will help manage daily operations, and develop new systems and procedures to accommodate the company's expansion. Prior to joining Big Rentz he spent two years as global training specialist with the troubled hybrid car manufacturer Fisker Automotive.

Executive vice president Stephen Jesson said: "Our growth has demanded that we upgrade our systems, procedures and structure. Rohan brings experience in operational management and system organisation. With an impressive background working with a well-known automotive manufacturer, he will provide the expertise to help lead our company forward as we continue to grow."

California based BigRentz previously traded as Direct Equipment Alliance and co-ordinates the provision of rental equipment such as aerial work platforms, telehandlers and earthmoving equipment through a network of independently owned local suppliers. The company is also planning to move to new, larger headquarters offices in Irvine, California.
