Falcon for Turkish shopping centre
A new shopping centre in Ankara, Turkey being developed by Taurus AVM has taken delivery of a Falcon FS290 spider lift.
The building includes large glass facades and a glass roof but its many staircases restrict access and was the main reason for choosing a spider lift which will be used for cleaning and maintenance jobs.

The FS290 is craned into the building
The FS290 offers the up and over ability and low ground pressure that are essential for the application and were the main factors behind Taurus AVM’s decision. The company has several other projects in Turkey that use TCA Lifts.
The FS290 was craned into the building and will be housed in its own storage room when not in use where it will remain for its working life. It was delivered to assist with the final finishing and cleaning of the building before the grand opening.

“We are very proud once again to be chosen by an AVM project,” said sales manager at TCA LIFT Brian Falck. “It is the sales person who sells the first machine, but the service team who sells the next.”
The Taurus Shopping Centre has been built at a cost of €200 million and is expected to provide jobs for around 1,500 people. The centre houses 130 stores, cinemas and food hall.
