Swedish order for Liebherr

Nordic container terminal operator APM Terminals Gothenburg has placed an order for two ship to shore cranes and two rail mounted gantry cranes with Liebherr Container Cranes.

The 65 tonne Megamax ship to shore cranes have an outreach of 65 metres, a back reach of 25 metres and a rail span of 30.4 metres. Features include anti-collision and straddle carrier positioning systems, vessel stack profiling and smart slowdown.

The rail mounted gantry cranes have a one over five configuration and feature a wide leg and narrow leg outreach of 14.5 metres.

Liebherr Container Cranes has also secured an order for seven SC340S straddle carries from ECT Delta Terminal in Rotterdam.
