Elliott unveils larger platform

Boom truck and platform manufacturer Elliott Equipment of Omaha, Nebraska has unveiled its highest truck mounted platform, the 65.5 metre working height E160/215. Its previous largest platform was the 42.7 metre L140.

The E160/215 has 24.4 metres of outreach and a 544kg platform capacity. Developed in conjunction with Custom Truck Equipment the unit is mounted on a five axle chassis and has a maximum lift capacity of 13,600kg.

Elliot Equipment says that the platform is designed for both on and off road applications by virtue of its EZ-Crib outriggers. Other features include a new 910 x 1,820mm basket with hydraulic lifting system making it easier for one person to attach.
