Genie parts auction
Aerial lift manufacturer Genie is organising an open tour and parts auction for customers, distributors and Genie maintenance companies at its European distribution centre in Roosendaal, the Netherlands.
Scheduled for the 19th, 20th and 21st November, the three day event will give visitors the chance to tour the company’s 5,200 square metre distribution and parts facility as well as bid on more than 2,500 spare parts for older Genie models.
European parts manager Phil Taylor said: “We have a stock of more than 2,500 original spare parts ranging from wheels, Trax units, air cooler kits, axles, cable connexions and cylinders, to generators, joysticks, pumps and remote-controls. The machines that they were initially made for are no longer produced, but many are still in operation. For people who choose to come and join us, this event provides a good opportunity to find the parts they need to support their business, and keep older Genie models safe and running smoothly for even longer.”

Sebastian Umbreit, senior director of operations and aftermarkets, added: “Today, we think it is important and appropriate to provide other professionals who work with our Genie products, the opportunity to come and see how our centrally located state-of-the-art hub and standardized processes are organised to serve the European region. This initiative is important to us and we would like to share it with our customers and parts or repair experts who work on Genie machines daily.”
