Time Benelux opens new service facility

Time Benelux has opened a new 800 square metre service and office facility in Tienen, Belgium. The new facility was at the centre of a customer open day last week.

“Many customers found the time to come and see the new facilities, on a cold and rainy November day,” said Sven Seldeslachts, sales manager, Time Benelux. “We have a strong position on the Belgium market and it was time to build out our service facilities, as our after sales service is a main focus for us in servicing our costumers.”

Visitors were able to see a variety of Versalift and Ruthmann models - the highest of which was new Ruthmann T 720 with 72 metres working height. Versalift showed three ranges - light duty with up to 200 kg platform capacity, medium duty with up to 230 kg and heavy duty with up to 265 kg platform capacities.

One of the smallest lifts from Versalift was the demountable 14 metre telescopic LDT-140-TB mounted on a 4 x 4 VW Amarok pick-up. The Quick Shift mounting allows the lift to be removed converting the pick-up into a salt spreader or a high pressure washer within 15 minutes.

“This new concept of mounting on pick- ups with “Quick Shift” is new on the market,” said Per Torp, export manager of Time International. “It has attracted a lot of attention since we introduced the first model at Bauma earlier this year.”
