HSS acquires TecServe

HSS Hire has acquired Premiere FCM (TecServ) - a specialist provider of maintenance services for cleaning machines - from UK based Premiere Products Group.

TecServ has wide customer base which includes local authorities, specialist food facilities and major contract cleaning companies. HSS said the new company’s capabilities will provide it with a national team of service engineers as well as complement and broaden the footprint of its cleaning equipment business Reintec. Launched in 2011, Reintec manufactures its own equipment for rental and contract hire for companies wanting to outsource their cleaning equipment needs.

Paul Lewis, managing director of Reintec, said: “Reintec remains a unique model in the market that really is helping our customers. However, we know that one size does not fit all and there is still a significant amount of owned cleaning equipment in use today which needs to be managed and maintained effectively. I am extremely pleased that with the addition of TecServ we will now be able to offer an even more complete cleaning equipment service to our customers – whether they use Reintec equipment or their own – designed around their needs and backed by innovative technology."

HSS chief executive Chris Davies, added: “The addition of TecServ to the HSS group is a strong step for the growth of our company in the cleaning sector.
