Easy Reach adds third Omme spider

Scottish rental company Easy Reach Access has added its third Ommelift to its fleet with the purchase of a 27.5 metre 2750 RXBDJ spider lift. The new machine was purchased through the manufacturer’s UK distributor APS.

Weighing just over five tonnes, the 2750 can provides its maximum outreach of 15.5 metres at an up and over clearance of 11 metres with a 250kg maximum platform capacity. Other features include variable stabiliser positions and the ability to level on gradients of up to 35 percent.

Easy Reach owner Peter Wood, said: “We’ve had Omme machines in our fleet for several years now and our customers really like them. They are simple to operate, very reliable and durable – the build quality is excellent. Because this is a true hybrid machine it is also incredibly flexible, it performs well working on historic buildings and inside stately homes as well as on urban construction sites.”
