Isoli appoints TH White

TH White, the UK based Palfinger crane dealer, has signed an agreement to represent Isoli tow trucks and recovery vehicles in the UK.

The distribution agreement is with the UK company’s loader crane division, led by Mark Rigby- chairman of ALLMI - with workshops in Devizes, Wiltshire and Bradford, Yorkshire. The Isoli recovery products will be mounted and installed under licence at the Bradford workshops. Isoli truck mounted aerial lifts will continue to be sold and serviced by APS.

An Isoli tilt back truck bed teamed up with a loader crane

Gabriele Valli of Isoli said: “TH White has an excellent reputation on the market as well a strong distribution network. The Isoli products will be complementary to Palfinger cranes, given that they are primarily used for roadside assistance and a crane is essential for the recovery of damaged vehicles. The majority of towing trucks have a ’T’ crane installed on board.”

This is a good move for both companies, Isoli gains a first class well resourced distributor, with a specialist lifting focus. TH White gains a well proven product line that compliments its Palfinger loader crane line. Isoli recovery vehicles are not well known in the UK, and yet have a very significant market share in Germany.

It will be interesting to see how Isoli does now that it has a strong partner in what appears to be a very fragmented market.
