Liebherr tower crane for India
Indian construction firm Suvilas Properties & Construction has taken delivery of a Liebherr 85 EC-Bi flat top tower crane for its maiden project - the Suvilas Royal Guardenia residential development in Jalahalli, Bangalore.
With a 45.4 metre maximum hook height and a 50 metre radius, the five tonne crane will be used for lifting steel rebar and concrete slabs on the two acre site. Once completed the 10-storey Suvilas Royal Gardenia residential building will feature 72 three and four bedroom luxury apartments as well as club houses, swimming pools and gymnasiums.
Suvilas project manager K.R. Shivakumar, said: “The Liebherr features numerous safety features such as over lifting warning and comprehensive, simple to read displays in the cabin. With experience of Liebherr cranes reliability on previous projects, l had no hesitation in recommending the 85 EC-Bi for this project.”
