200t Liebherr for Schröder

German crane rental company Schröder has taken delivery of its new 200 tonne flagship Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 All Terrain crane.

The LTM 1200-5.1 has a 72 metre main boom and when combined with its bi-fold swingaway extension provides a maximum height under hook of 98 metres and can lift 1,000kg at a 78 metre radius. The new crane will replace another 200 tonne crane which has been in service for the last six years.

Company owner Bernd Schröder said: “We have exclusively used Liebherr cranes for the last quarter of a century. It is the quality of the products and their unique customer service which continues to impress us. Spare parts arrive the next day and we feel very well cared for in Liebherr's hands. Once a Liebherr customer - always a Liebherr customer."

Schröder takes delivery of its new 200 tonne flagship crane

Based in Celle, just outside of Hanover, Autokrane Schröder has a fleet of seven cranes ranging from 30 to 200 tonnes. The company, which was established in 1971, intends to expand its fleet in the next two years and has placed an order for a 35 tonne LTF 1035-3.1 truck mounted crane.
