New 20 tonne city crane

Mister Gru, the Tadano Faun distributor in Italy, exhibited a well finished City crane at SAIE last week. The crane is apparently made in house by Mister Gru and boasts the following specification.

The Mister Gru Eco power 20 tonne City crane


The crane can lift 20 tonnes at three metres radius and is equipped with a 25.6 metre six section main boom, which can be extend with a three section telescopic luffing jib which takes the maximum tip height up to around 35 metres. Please register to see all images

Power comes from a Volvo diesel, but an electric motor is also provided for working in sensitive areas. Four wheel drive and steer is standard, and the dimensions are relatively compact, with overall length at 6.2 metres, a chassis length of 5.8 metres, overall width of 2.35 metres, and a height of only 2.9metres. GVW is 18,000kgs

A three section luffing jib is also available



Lifting capacities are as you might expect for this type of crane, at 23 metres radius, it will handle 800 kgs, it can take a tonne out to 22 metres and will lift 6.8 tonnes on full boom.

A boom nose mounted platform is also available which offers a maximum outreach of 23 metres with 200kgs capacity, a maximum work height of 31 metres and full 180 degree platform rotation.
