AB2000 takes first Liebherr cranes
UK based crane rental company AB2000 of Glasgow, Scotland has taken delivery of its first two new Liebherr cranes, expanding its 11 strong fleet.
The company chose the 95 tonne LTM1095 for taxi crane work, capable of carrying its entire ballast and 58 metre main boom within the UK road regulations. The larger 200 tonne LTM1200 has a 72 metre boom and can carry road legal ballast of up to 16 tonnes.

Adam Bruce, managing director of AB 2000 said: “The new Liebherr cranes will make an excellent addition to our fleet and will demonstrate to our customers how we provide total service flexibility and how we are continually investing in the best technology available to meet their needs.”

Well done on new additions to fleet, but new cranes and the best technology doesnt mean you can get away with poor lifting practices.
No Outrigger mats ? Under a crane of this size ? NO EXCUSE, no matter how good the ground is perceived to be, if reduced ballast is used, or how light the load is.
Also, spreader bar is too long...
