Sterling truck for Emco
Aberdeen, Scotland based Emco services has taken delivery of a new hot dip zinc coated special truck body from Sterling.
Based on a 32 tonne chassis, the new delivery vehicle has been acquired for Emco’s fleet of aerial lifts, new body/bed has been completely encased in a hardwearing coat of zinc for increased protection from corrosion in extreme operating environments.

The body has been fitted with the extra width walkway and guardrail system which allows the operator to safely walk past full width machines on the deck.

The loading ramp has been fitted with a serrated steel mesh with an open profile which reduces drag when compared with traditional mesh materials and is also said to help improve aerodynamics and reduce fuel consumption.
