Haulotte Expands in Germany
Haulotte will break ground shortly on a new larger sales, service and distribution facility in Germany. The new facility will be located on an industrial park in Eschbach around 10km from its current location in Bad Krozingen-Hausen in Southwest Germany.
The 9,000 square metre facility will include a two-storey administration building with around 600 square metres of offices, an 800 square metre workshop with four overhead crane tracks and a warehouse for the storage of new machines, allowing for around 100 battery powered lifts and a further 30 diesel powered booms to be stored under cover. The company is planning to move to the new buildings over the year end 2014/15.

Geschäftsführer Thomas Stock said: “The new building will offer good opportunities for effective service training and allow us to provide the best customer support. All of our staff are looking forward to moving into the new offices. All of our employees will move to the new facility, which means we retain their expertise. The new building will also include modern training rooms, allowing us to extend the extensive range of training services that we offer.”
Haulotte says that in the past 12 months it has delivered around 1,500 new machines in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Czech Republic – and that it expects this to increase in 2014.
