JCB Chairman opens new facility
Sir Anthony Bamford and his son Jo today officially opened a new £3 million state-of-the-art facility for one of its longest serving dealers, T C Harrison, in Chapeltown, near Sheffield today.

The 2.5 acre Chapeltown site boasts a large multi-bay workshop incorporating the latest tools and diagnostic equipment, an overhead crane, and a large viewing area for new and used JCB equipment
The TC Harrison Group, which celebrates its 75th anniversary next year, has been a JCB dealer for over 50 years. The company originally started in Sheffield and now has depots in Lincoln, Alfreton, Sedgefield and Chapeltown, employing more than 100 people.

TC Harrison Director and General Manager Bill Sutton said: “With 186 models, the JCB machine range is now the biggest in the company’s history, so now is a perfect time to invest in a new purpose-built depot at Chapeltown.
