60 MacGregor cranes

Cargotec’s marine crane division MacGregor has received orders for 60 bulk versions of its cargo handling cranes from five Chinese shipyards. Scheduled for delivery over the next two years the cranes are destined for 15 bulk carriers.

Two 37,500 tonne bulkers on order at Yangzhou Gouyo shipyard will each be equipped with four GLBE3026.2-2/2426.2gr marine cranes with a maximum capacity of 30 tonnes and maximum radius of 26 metres. Eight GLB3629-2/28.829 electro-hydraulic marine cranes have been ordered for two 63,000 tonne bulk carriers on order at the Dayang shipyard with a further eight CLB3528-2/2828 marine cranes ordered for two 61,000 tonne bulkers at the Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering (NACKS) shipyard.

Five 61,000 tonne bulk ships under construction at the Natong Huatai shipyard will be fitted with four electro-hydraulic-type GLB3026-2/2426gr marine cranes and finally, four 67,000 tonne bulk and log handling vessels being built at the Zheijiang Zhenge shipyard will each be fitted with four GLBE3629-2/2829gr VFD marine cranes.

Four MacGregor cargo cranes on a bulk carrier
