New EU supply chain director at JLG
JLG has appointed Christian Pagel as director of global procurement and supply chain for the Europe, Africa, Middle East region. He will be based at the company’s offices in Hoofddorp, Netherlands.
Pagel has more than 25 years of experience in procurement, logistics, and related services in Europe and the United States. He joins JLG from the Mauser group where he was head of European purchasing, covering 27 plants producing a wide variety of packaging.

Prior to that he spent five years with Johnson Controls, following the buy-out, turn around and later sale of an injection moulding business - Geske Kunststofftechnik. SAS Autosystemtechnik Textron Fastening Systems. He also worked for Lear jet for five years having started out as a buyer for Delphi Automotive.
JLG’s vice president for global procurement and supply chain Guruprasad Bandekar said: “We are excited to have a talented professional with Christian's experience and background lead our European purchasing and supply chain team. With the continuing economic recovery across the region, Christian's focus will be building and developing a high-performing team to ensure improved and reliable performance across all aspects of the supply chain so that we can continue to delight our internal and external customers.”
