Man dies at JCB plant

A 33 year old man died from head injuries, following an accident at JCB’s Leek road, Cheadle plant in Staffordshire, last week. The man, Darren Ellis, was married with two children and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police and health and Safety executive are investigating the incident and until now have not revealed any details of the incident.

Detective Inspector Neil Hulme said:``We are currently interviewing employees at JCB who may have witnessed this incident to try and build up a picture of the circumstances surrounding Mr Ellis' death.''
