Cycling for charity
Prolift Access managing director Andy Pearson swapped powered access for pedal power at the weekend to raise money for a hospital and community care charity.
Pearson organised Carl's Charity Ride in support of two close friends who have recently undergone treatment for cancer, and was joined on the 90 mile cycle ride by his wife Ali and 13 other friends. The group rode from Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, Somerset, to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon - the hospitals where their two friends have been treated.
The ride, which had substantial sponsorship from Niftylift and Prolift Access, took around six hours on Saturday.
