New general manager for Terex Cranes
Terex Cranes has appointed Dean Barley as vice president and general manager for North America.
Barley has held numerous roles at Terex since joining in 2004. Most notably, he served as director of sales for North America before being promoted to general manager of Terex Construction Americas. In 2012 he was appointed vice president and general manager for the Construction Americas & Global Aftermarket business. He will now be responsible for strengthening customer relationships, before, during and after the sale of all Terex cranes in North America.

His past experiences and particular expertise are ideally suited to take on the responsibilities that come with this position, including helping us fulfil our goal of becoming the most responsive manufacturer in the industry to customers’ needs.”

Dean Barley
Barley takes over from Dan Slater who has become vice president of Terex Business System (TBS) and manufacturing strategy. He will be based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
