Ramirent/Zeppelin JV approved

Ramirent and Zeppelin Rental have received relevant approvals and completed the formation of their joint venture Fehmarnbelt to offer rental equipment on the Fehmarnbelt tunnel, to be built between Germany and Denmark.

The tunnel is due to start this summer and be completed in 2021. Fehmarnbelt Solution Services will open rental depots on both the Danish and German side and offer a full range of equipment, and support services - see: Ramirent and Zeppelin team up.

Ramirent chief executive Magnus Rosén, said: “We are pleased to have received the approval from the competition authorities for the joint venture together with Zeppelin Rental. Our joint venture is well-positioned to be selected as rental supplier for the project and is ready to commence activities to offer our services to the different companies working on the tunnel construction project.”
