Skyjack adds to sales team

Skyjack has expanded its North American sales team with the appointment of three new territory managers.

George Kidwell, Richard Pomponio and Doug Mingst have been appointed to the newly created roles in order to increase the company’s market presence. They will be responsible for strengthening relationships with existing national accounts as well as developing new relationships with independent customers.

Mingst joined Skyjack in November, from The National Equipment Registers, where he spent four years as director of business development. Prior to that he worked as an independent sales consultant for the powered access sector having spent 12 years as regional sales manager for Snorkel, Upright and JLG. He will be responsible for the sales of Skyjack products in the New Jersey, New York City metro area, Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Washington DC.

Doug Mingst

Kidwell joins Skyjack from Sunbelt Rentals where he spent seven years in various roles including outside sales representative and district sales manager. Prior to that he was an account representative at National Pathology Service for more than 10 years. He will be responsible for sales in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi.

George Kidwell

Pomponio has more than 25 years of experience in the construction equipment business, including spells with general and specialist rental companies. At Skyjack he will be responsible for Pennsylvania and New York.
