Remote controlled telehandler
Dutch cladding specialist V.d. Tillaar Gevelmontage has taken delivery of one the first fully remote controlled 360 degree Magni telehandlers from distributor Collé Rental & Sales.
The RTH 5.25S offers a 4.9 tonne maximum lift capacity and a 26.8 lift height. Capacity at full height is two tonnes and it is able to take 600kg out to 21.9 metres. All driving, outrigger and hydraulic functions can also be controlled from Magni’s optional radio-controlled remote. Once the outriggers are deployed, the remote can operate all superstructure movements. It also works with a work platform attachment. In order to control the vehicle’s travel movements from the remote controller, the telehandler must have the boom retracted.
Company owner Ron Van den Tillaar, said: “Thanks to the user-friendly remote I have full control of the Magni 5.26S. Thanks to the radio remote control I can operate it from the where the work is being done, eliminating the need for additional riggers. It makes work more efficient and the benefits speak for themselves.”
