Truck mount incident

A man was injured last week when the platform of a truck mounted lift dropped around three to four metres to the ground in Hamburg.

The scene after the operator was taken to hospital

The incident occurred in the Gardemann rental depot in Hamburg, and while information is limited, it appears from the photographs we have been sent that the machine overturned - due to stability issues - possibly due to an outriggers on the load side not being fully extended due to yard congestion.

The operator, 52, was taken to hospital, with a broken leg. We will update this item once we have more information.
