Nottrott takes HK65
German steel erector Metallbau Nottrott has taken delivery of a 65 tonne Tadano HK65 truck mounted crane.

The HK65 features a 41 metre main boom and a 15.8 metre swing-away extension providing a maximum tip height of 58 metres. Mounted on a 32 tonne Scania commercial chassis with axle loadings of up to 9.5 tonnes, complete with all of its counterweight, a 12.5 tonne hook block and up to 750kg of slinging. The company said it decided to purchase the HK65 after a problem free six years with a 60 tonne HK60 purchased back in 2008.
Founded in 2000, the Sondershausen based company assembles steel structures throughout Europe.
