Four Falcon spiders for Bangkok

Thailand’s Bangkok International Airport – formally known as Suvarnabhumi Airport – has taken delivery of four 32 metre Falcon FS320Z spider lifts.

The diesel/electric FS320Z offers up to 15 metres of outreach with an up and over height of up to 10 metres and a platform capacity of 200kg. It has a maximum outreach of 16 metres with a reduced platform capacity of 100kg.

The new spider lifts will be used to maintain and clean the airport’s glass facades. The airport also has the world’s tallest free-standing control tower that measures 132.2 metres tall.

Bangkok Airport has taken delivery of four Falcon FS320Z spider lifts

Brian Falck Schmidt, sales manager at TCA Lift, said: ““We are very proud – once again – to be selected as preferred supplier by Airport of Thailand. Years back we won a contract for delivery of 10 Falcon spiders to the same customer. And now being selected again after 10 years use of our equipment is the best reference we as manufacturer can get.”
