HWS orders from JLG and Genie
Dutch rental company HWS has ordered a large number of JLG and aerial work platforms from local distributor Riwal.
The order consists of 46ft 460SJ and 66ft 660SJ boom lifts as well as a number of 12ft 1230ES mast type self-propelled lifts. The company has also ordered a number of special 40ft 400S boom lifts which feature an extended four metre platforms aimed at a variety of facade applications.
HWS owner Toby van de Kooij, said: “Despite good offers from several different suppliers, we went with the quality and consistency that the JLG brand offers. Combined with Riwal’s technical expertise, we were able to purchase machines that meet all of our specific needs.”

Arjen Snijder, Riwal’s international sales manager added: “Riwal and HWS have been engaged in a long and committed relationship which has been reconfirmed through this deal. We are pleased to deliver so many quality units to an aerial work platform rental company of the size of HWS.”
The company has also ordered a number of Genie aerial work platforms including another S-45 Trax crawler mounted telescopic boom lift, two 40ft diesel GS4069RT scissor lifts and two push around mast-type one person lifts - a 25ft AWP25 and a 30ft AWP30. It has also ordered two Z-33/18 boom lifts which were launched at APEX last year.

Based in Noordwijk with a branch in Nunspeet, HWS Verhuur runs a fleet of more than 800 machines.
