Multitel for RKP

UK truck mounted lift rental company RKP Access Platforms has taken delivery of a 20.1 metre Multitel MJ201 truck mounted platform.

Mounted on a 3.5 tonne Nissan Cabstar chassis, the MJ210 offers up to 12.6 metres of outreach and has a platform capacity of 225kg. It also features a telescopic articulated jib which provides up and over capabilities as well as up to two metres of below ground level reach.

RKP owner Paul Hunwick said: “We looked at quite a few 3.5 tonne truck mounts as there are a few variations of booms on the market. The thing that made the MJ201 stand out from the rest was its telescopic articulated jib, ideal for negative work. It also has zero tail swing, variable jacking and its ease of use makes it ideal for the self-drive market. The delivery time was also only eight weeks and we were delighted to see it arrive a week early!”

Established in 2011, RKP Access Platforms provides a range of truck and van mounted access platforms throughout the North East England from its depot in County Durham. The MJ201 will join the company’s self-drive fleet alongside the company’s 3.5 tonne CTE and Oil & Steel truck mounts.
